Commercial Automatic Fire Alarm - Respironics

At ~1:48 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to support Station 78 (Sardis VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Respironics on Murry Ridge Lane. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (5 firefighters), Rescue 20 (6 firefighters including Assistant Chief 20 and Lieutenant 20), with Chief 20 going directly to the scene, and an additional firefighter manning the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 78: Station 102 (Washington Township VFC), Station 115 (Upper Burrell VFC), Station 183 (Renton VFC), Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC), Station 170 (Monroeville #4), Station 54 (Lower Burrell VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Engine 78 with Deputy Chief 78 was first on scene, Deputy Chief 78 established the command, and observed no fire for smoke coming from the structure. Command 78 held the call to Stations 78 and 115, and returned all additional responding stations. Truck 20 and Rescue 20 returned to service and station.
