During the evening of 10 February 2021, the firefighters of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company #1 (Station 20) received instruction from the Westmoreland County Fire Academy on the techniques and procedures for responding to a variety of Natural Gas Emergencies. Due to extensive residential and business use of natural gas in Station 20's response area, this training will help the Station 20 Firefighters to effectively and safety respond to natural gas emergencies.
