At ~ 2:22 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at the Murrysville Get-Go, which is still under construction. Station 20 responded with Assistant Chief 20 and Captain 20 going directly to the scene, while 4 firefighters went to the station to crew Truck 20. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 20: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 170 (Monroeville #4), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Captain 20 was first on scene, established the command, found no smoke or fire coming from the structure, and upon investigation found that the work crew had accidently activated the structure's AFA System. The AFA System was reset, and Command 20 returned all activated stations to service and station. Truck 20 remained in service and in station.
