Residential Automatic Fire Alarm - Saltsburg Road

At ~ 2:07PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 78 (Sardis VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Saltsburg Road. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (5 firefighters including Chief 20), with an additional 5 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20) on standby at the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 78: Station 183 (Renton VFC), Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Engine 78 was first on scene, with Chief 78 establishing the command, and finding no fire or smoke coming from the structure. Command 78 held the alarm to Station 78, and returned all other responding stations. Truck 20 returned to service and station.
