At ~5:29 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a business on Orchard Court. Station 20 responded with 8 firefighters going to the station to crew Engine 20 and Rescue 20, while 2 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20) went directly to the scene. The first direct responding firefighter arrived on scene, found no smoke or fire coming from the structure, and upon investigation found that a cooking accident had activated the structure's AFA System. The owner reset the structure's AFA System, and Command 20 returned all Station 20 units to service and station.
