Single Vehicle Collision - Murrysville Dunkin Donuts

At `5:54 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a vehicle that had collided with rear retaining wall at the Murrysville Dunkin Donuts Parking Lot. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (5 firefighters including Captain 20), with 2 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20) going directly to the scene, and 4 firefighters (including Chief 20) on standby at the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) and the Murrysville Police. Assistant Chief 20 arrived on scene finding the Murrysville Police in command of the scene, the vehicle not leaking any fluids, and Station 610 EMS assessing the vehicle driver in the vehicle. Upon Rescue 20's arrival its crew assisted Station 610 EMS in removing the operator from the vehicle, and cleared the vehicle debris from the parking lot. Medic 617 transported the vehicle driver to a local trauma center for further assessment and treatment. Rescue 20's crew assisted Wally's Transport in recovering vehicle, and upon its removal the Murrysville Police released Rescue 20 for return to service and station.
