At ~5:11 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a tree on utility wires on School Road South near Marquis Place. Station 20 responded with 9 firefighters (including Captain 20) going to the station to crew Engine 20 and Squad 20, while Assistant Chief 20 went directly to the scene. Assistant Chief 20 arrived on scene, established the command, and found a tree resting on utility wires. Command 20 relayed the utility pole number to Westmoreland 911 so a repair crew could be sent to the site, determined that no fire/rescue services were required at the scene, and held all Station 20 units in station. Engine 20 and Squad 20 remained in service and in station.
