At ~ 4:09 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 64 (White Valley VFC) for a report of vehicle fire that was endangering a home on West Pike Street. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (4 firefighters including Sergeant 20), with 2 firefighters (Assistant Chief 20 and Lieutenant 20) going directly to the scene, and 5 firefighters on station standby. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) for the incident. Chief 64 was first on scene, established the command and found a fully evolved pickup truck in the roadway on West Pike Street. Engine 64 arrived and its crew used an attack line with water and foam to extinguish the car. Engine 20, Tanker 64, and Medic 617 arrived on scene. Station 20 firefighters assisted Station 64 with overhaul and cleanup once the care was extinguished. After Gombach Towing recovered the vehicle, Command 64 returned all units.
