At ~4:08 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a vehicle operator that had her arm trapped underneath a seat inside of an automobile in the lot of the Murrysville Giant Eagle. Station 20 responded with 10 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20) going to the station to crew Rescue 20 and Squad 20, while 3 firefighters (including Chief 20 and Sergeant 20) went directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), and the Murrysville Police. Sergeant 20 was the first firefighter on scene, and found that the operator had been freed by the Murrysville Police, so all fire units were returned. Rescue 20 and Squad 20 remained in service and in station.
