At ~ 4:06 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of downed utility wires across the roadway on Macintyre Drive. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (3 firefighters including Assistant Chief 20), with 5 additional firefighters on station standby. Engine 20 arrived on scene, Assistant Chief 20 established the command, and found that a bucket truck had pulled down the cable and telephone lines from a pole. Command 20 relayed the utility pole number to Westmoreland 911 so Windstream and Comcast could dispatch repair crews to the site. Engine 20's crew removed the wires from the roadway, reopening the roadway, and Command 20 returned Engine 20 to service and station.
