Residential Automatic Fire Alarm - Meadowbrook Road

At ~ 11:47 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Meadowbrook Road. Station 20 responded with 4 firefighters going to the station to crew Truck 20, while 2 firefighters (including Sergeant 20) went directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 20: Station 9 (Level Green VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Sergeant 20 was first on scene, established the command, and found no smoke or fire coming from the structure. Upon investigation it was found that AFA System had been activated during maintenance by the homeowner. Command 20 returned all responding stations. Truck 20 remained in station and in service.
