2-Vehicle Collision - Sardis Road

At 9:58 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a 2-vehicle collision near the intersection of Sardis Road and East Lane. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (6 firefighters including Captain 20 and Lieutenant 20), with Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene, and 3 firefighters on station standby. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) and the Murrysville Police for the incident. Assistant Chief 20 arrived on scene to find a 2-vehicle collision with one vehicle off the road in a home's front yard, and the Murrysville Police in command of the scene. Rescue 20 arrived and its crew remediated leaking fluids and debris from the vehicle in the home's front yard, and assisted the Murrysville Police in regulating traffic at the collision site, while Medic 613's crew assessed the vehicle occupants. Gombach Towing arrived and recovered the vehicle in the front yard. Once the vehicle was recovered the Murrysville Police released Rescue 20 for return to service and station.
