At ~12:10 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at the Murrysville Sports Zone on School Road South. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (3 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with 3 additional firefighters on station standby. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 20: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 87 (Harrison City VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Truck 20 was first on scene, Lieutenant 20 established the command, and found no fire or smoke coming from the structure. Command 20 returned all stations except for Station 20. Upon investigation it was found that construction within the structure had activated the AFA System. The AFA System was reset, and Command 20 returned Truck 20 to service and station.
