Commercial Automatic Fire Alarm - Hamill Manufacturing-Penn Township

At 7:44 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 87 (Harrison City VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Hamill Manufacturing in Penn Township. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (4 firefighters) with 4 additional firefighters on station standby. Westmoreland 911 dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 87: Station 7 (Paintertown VFC), Station 9 (Level Green VFC), Station 13 (Manor VFC), Station 63 (Claridge VFC), Station 3 (Westmoreland City), Station 226 (Penn Township Rescue 6), and the Penn Township Police. Truck 20 arrived on scene, and was put into a staging area by Command 87. A small fire was found inside the structure, and was extinguished by the first interior firefighter crew. Command 87 released Truck 20 for return to service and station.
