| At ~ 6:04 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to establish a Helicopter Landing Zone (LZ) in support of an Aerial Ambulance Evacuation by STAT MedEvac for a patient from Medic 616. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (3 firefighters), with Assistant Chief 20 and Captain 20 going directly to the scene, and 5 firefighters on station standby with Rescue 20. Engine 20 and Assistant Chief 20 arrived on scene, and established the landing zone. STAT MedEvac 4 arrived on scene, and the patient was transferred from Medic 616 for transport to a local hospital. Once the aerial ambulance had departed, Command 20 returned Engine 20 to service and station. |
