2-Vehicle Collision - Intersection of William Penn Highway and Tarr Hollow Road

At ~ 6:42 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a 2-vehicle collision at the intersection of William Penn Highway and Tarr Hollow Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (2 firefighters), with 2 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20) going directly to the scene, and 7 firefighters on station standby. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the Murrysville Police and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) for the incident. Assistant Chief 20 arrived on scene, to find the Murrysville Police in command, eastbound traffic detouring around the incident site through the intersection "Jug Handle", and Station 610 EMS assessing the occupants of both vehicles. Rescue 20 arrived on scene, and its crew cleared debris from the roadway. Gombach Towing recovered the vehicle blocking the eastbound lanes of William Penn Highway. The Murrysville Police reopened the eastbound lanes of William Penn Highway, and released Rescue 20 for return to service and station.
