At ~ 6:54 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a vehicle colliding with a utility pole, with an injured occupant. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (3 firefighters), with 4 firefighters (including Chief 20, Assistant Chief 20, and Captain 20) going directly to the scene, and 2 firefighters on station standby. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the Murrysville Police, and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) for the incident. Chief 20 arrived on scene to find that a car that hit a utility pole guy wire and road sign. Murrysville Police, Support 610, Medic One ambulances and Rescue 20 arrived on scene, and Rescue 20's crew completed the removal of the debris from the roadway. Gombach Towing was called to recover the car, and the Murrysville Police released Rescue 20 and all Station 20 personnel for return to service and station. |
