Odor of Natural Gas in Commercial Structure - Panera Bread-Murrysville

At ~ 7:09 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of an odor of natural gas inside Panera Bread at the Walnut Hollow Shopping Plaza. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (4 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), Engine 20 (2 firefighters), with Chief 20 and Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 20: Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Chief 20 and Assistant Chief 20 arrived on scene, with Chief 20 establishing the command, and finding all occupants had evacuated the structure. Truck 20, Support 610, Medic 615, Engine 22, and Engine 64 arrived on scene. Interior firefighters entered the structure, and surveyed the interior using 4-Gas Meters. All readings were negative, and Command 20 returned the structure to the keyholder, and released all fire/rescue units. Truck 20 and Engine 20 returned to service and station.
