| At ~9:01 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Emergency Lift Assist for Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) at a home on Ivy Drive. Station 20 responded with 4 firefighters (including Sergeant 20) going directly to the scene, and 4 firefighters going to the station to crew the apparatus. The direct responding Station 20 firefighters arrived on scene, and Sergeant 20 determined sufficient personnel were present, so all firefighters responding to the station were held on station standby. The Station 20 firefighters assisted Station 610 EMS in moving the patient from the home to the ambulance for transport to a local hospital. Once the patient was transported, Sergeant 20 released all Station 20 firefighters. |
