At ~ 11:05 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 22 (Export VFC) for a stove fire at a home on Roosevelt Avenue in Export. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (5 firefighters including Sergeant 2), Engine 20 (3 firefighters including Captain 20), with Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene, and 6 firefighters on station standby in case additional apparatus was needed at the scene. Chief 22 was first on scene, established the command, found a working fire in the kitchen. The initial arriving units from Stations 22 and 64 provided sufficient resources to extinguish the fire, so Command 22 returned all enroute units including Truck 20 and Engine 20 to service and station.
