At ~8:21 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a 3-vehicle collision in the eastbound turning lane at the intersection of William Penn Highway and Trafford Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (6 firefighters including Assistant Chief 20 and Lieutenant 20), with Sergeant 20 going directly to the scene, and 6 firefighters (including Captain 20) on station standby. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the Murrysville Police and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) for the incident. Rescue 20 and Sergeant 20 arrived on scene to find 3 vehicles in the eastbound lefthand turning lane of the intersection, and the Murrysville Police in command of the scene. After surveying the scene and finding no debris or fluids on the roadway, the Murrysville Police released Rescue 20 for return to service and station.
