Vehicle into House with Entrapment - Pleasant Valley Road

At ~7:43 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a vehicle into a house on Pleasant Valley Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (6 firefighters), Engine 20 (4 firefighters), with 3 firefighters (including Chief 20 and Captain 20) going directly to the scene, and 1 firefighter manning the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 20: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 9 (Level Green VFC), Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One), and the Murrysville Police. Chief 20 and Captain 20 arrived on scene, with Chief 20 establishing the command, and finding that an automobile had gone off the road into a home, with the driver unable to exit the vehicle, and the home's occupants able to exit the structure. Rescue 20, Rescue 64, Rescue 9, Special Operations 78, Engine 20, Medic 613, Medic 616, Command 610 arrived on scene. The firefighters were able to extricate the driver, who was turned over to Station 610 EMS for evaluation. While the firefighters were clearing the debris from the home, Medic 613 transported the vehicle operator to a local trauma center for further evaluation. Gombach Towing arrived and with the assistance of the firefighters removed the car from the structure. The firefighters tarped the hole to protect the interior of the home from the weather. With the hole tarped and the vehicle removed from the scene, Command 20 released all Fire/Rescue Units for return to service and station.
