2-Vehicle Collision - Intersection of William Penn Highway & School Road

At ~8:08 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a 2-Vehicle Collision at the intersection of William Penn Highway and School Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (6 firefighters), with 3 firefighters (including Deputy Chief 20) going directly to the scene, and 4 additional firefighters on station standby with Engine 20. Rescue 20 arrived on scene to find 2 vehicles in the middle of the intersection, the Murrysville Police in command of the scene, Station 610 EMS evaluating and releasing the vehicle operators, and Deputy Chief 20 evaluating the vehicles for possible fluid leaks. Rescue 20's crews removed a debris from the roadway and assisted the Murrysville Police with traffic regulation. Gombach Towing recovered both vehicles, and the Murrysville Police released Rescue 20 for return to service and station.
