During the evening of 8 June, the firefighters of Station 20 (Murrysville VFC), Station 22 (Export VFD), and Station 78 (Sardis VFC) participated in Rope Rescue Training at Station 78 on Saltsburg Road. The combined firefighters worked on basic rope rescue techniques and procedures; and were familiarized with the extensive rescue equipment carried on Special Operations 78. This period of training is a continuation of the Joint Training Program, that the Fire/Rescue Companies of the Murrysville-Export Area are conducting during 2022 to ensure better coordination between the companies at multi-company Fire/Rescue Incidents.
