During the month of June, the firefighters of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company (Station 20) responded to 55 Fire/Rescue Calls within its Primary and Mutual Aid Areas of Responsibility. Thus, the company has answered 298 calls for the first 6 months of 2025. The company continued its 2025 Joint Training Program (with Export VFD [Station 22] and Claridge VFD [Station 63]) with a series of Vehicle Rescue and Recovery Classes conducted in conjunction with Gombach Towing and Auto Salvage of Jeanette, PA with the emphasis on alternate fuel and electric vehicles. The firefighters of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company remain prepared to provide "First Responder" Fire/Rescue Services not only for the residents, businesses and organizations within the Murrysville-Export Area, but also for its Mutual Aid Response Areas.
