At ~11:16 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) for a single car accident at 4465 Round Top Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (3 firefighters), with Chief 20 responding to the scene, and Engine 20 (4 firefighters) on standby at Station 20. Upon arrival at the scene, Rescue 20 found the automobile off the south side of the road, however the driver was out of the vehicle under the care of Murrysville Medic One, and there were no hazardous fluids leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was recovered by a local towing service, and after the firefighters rechecked the accident site for any fluid contamination or debris, the Murrysville Police Department released Rescue 20 for return to station.
