At ~5:52 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) for a Automatic Fire Alarm at 3300 Logan Ferry Road (Murrysville Rehabilitation and Wellness Center). Westmorland 911 also dispatched Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), and Station 170 (Monroeville #4 VFC). The first Station 20 firefighter on scene was informed by the maintenance staff that the AFA was activated due to burnt food, and so responding units except for Station 20 were cancelled. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (2 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with 2 additional firefighters at Station 20 incase additional equipment was needed. Upon arrival at the scene the firefighters inspected the Automatic Fire Alarm System, and reset the system. Lieutenant 20 released Truck 20 for return to station.
