At ~3:32 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) to assist Station 78 (Sardis Volunteer Fire Company) for a 2-Car Vehicle Accident at the intersection of Mamont Road and Hills Church Road. Also dispatched for the incident was Station 64 (White Valley Volunteer Fire Company), Murrysville Medic One, and the Murrysville Police Department. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (5 firefighters including Lieutenant 20 and Sergeant 20), with Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene. Upon Rescue 20's arrival at the accident scene, the crew from Rescue 20 assisted Medic One and Station 78 in loading the accident vehicle's occupants into Medic One's Ambulances, checked both vehicles for leaking hazardous liquids, assisted the Murrysville Police with traffic regulation near the accident scene, and cleared any accident debris from the roadway. Upon removal of the both vehicles by McElhinney's Towing Service, the Murrysville Police released Rescue 20 for return to station.
