Odor of Natural Gas in Neighborhood

At ~6:24 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a odor of natural gas in the Murry Highlands Circle Neighborhood. Station 20 responded from station with Engine 20 (2 firefighters), with 3 firefighters going directly to the scene. Upon Engine 20's arrival, the crew surveyed the area with its Multi-Gas Meter, and found no explosive danger to the neighborhood. The Officer in Command requested that Westmorland 911 notify Peoples Natural Gas of the situation for further investigation of the area. The Officer in Command released Engine 20 and its crew for return to station.
