| At ~4:38 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a reported Single Vehicle Accident near the intersection of William Penn Highway and Blue Spruce Way. Station 20 responded with 3 firefighters (including Sergeant 20) going directly to the scene, and 4 firefighters (including Lieutenant 20) reporting to the station to man Rescue 20. Murrysville Medic One was also dispatched by Westmorland 911. However the firefighters going to the scene found that there was no accident, the vehicle's damage was from a previous accident, and the vehicle's operator had been sleeping. Sergeant 20 cancelled the Rescue 20 in station, and turned the vehicle operator over to the responding Murrysville Medic One crew. |
