At ~ 6:56 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a Residential Automatic Fire Alarm at Redstone Highlands-Murrysville. Station 20 responded with Chief 20 going directly to the scene, and 2 firefighters responding to Station 20. Westmorland 911 also dispatched Station 64 (White Valley VFD), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 22 (Export VFD), and Station 87 (Harrison City VFD) to assist Station 20. Chief 20 was first on scene, and found that the fire alarm had been accidently activated by one of the residents. Chief 20 cancelled all responding units for return to service.
