At ~9:11 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a single vehicle accident at the intersection of William Penn Highway and Tarr Hollow Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (3 firefighters including Captain 20), with 3 firefighters (including Chief 20 and Lieutenant 20) going directly to the scene. Upon the firefighters arrival at the scene, the driver had self-extracted from the vehicle, and the firefighters assisted Murrysville Medic One in loading the driver for transport. Rescue 20's crew remediated the small amount of fluid leaking from the car, and removed any debris from the roadway as Gorbach Towing Service removed the vehicle. The Murrysville Police released Rescue 20 for return to station.
