At ~9:03AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a single vehicle accident at the intersection of North Hills and Tarr Hollow Roads. Station 20 responded with 5 firefighters (including Lieutenant 20) going to the station to man Rescue 20, and Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene. Murrysville Police were already on scene when Assistant Chief 20 arrived to find a vehicle had slid off the road due to icy road conditions, and the driver had self extracted from the vehicle. Murrysville Police determined that no fire/rescue services were needed at the scene since no fluids were leaking from the vehicle, and no vehicle debris was on the roadway. Assistant Chief 20 cancelled Rescue 20 before it departed Station 20.
