At ~6:21 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 9 (Level Green VFD) for a Commercial Automatic Fire Alarm at UPMC Partners in Health in Penn Township. Station 20 responded with 6 firefighters (including Lieutenant 20) going to Station 20 to man Engine 20. Westmorland 911 dispatched the following additional stations to assist Station 9: Station 7 (Paintertown VFD), Station 86 (Trafford VFD), and Station 87 (Harrison City VFD). Chief 9 was first on scene, and cancelled Station 20, before Engine 20 departed the station.
