Public Service Detail - Honor Guard for a Fallen Soldier

During the evening of 12 December, the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company (Station 20) joined the other Murrysville-Export-Monroeville Area Fire/Rescue/EMS Organizations (Stations 22, 30, 64, 78, 170, 171, and 610) in providing a guard of honor as the remains of Sergeant Jason McClary, a native of Export, PA were being transported to the Jobe Funeral Home in Monroeville, PA. Sergeant McClary assigned to the 1st Battalion, 38th Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, CO, had recently died of wounds at Landstuhl Regional Military Medical Center, Germany that were suffered in a combat action on 27 November 2018 while deployed to Ghazni Province, Afghanistan. The firefighters and emergency medical personnel of the Murrysville-Export-Monroeville Area are honored to have provided this detail to a fallen American Soldier.
