At ~10:59 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Fenton Drive. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (5 firefighters including Lieutenant 20 and Sergeant 20) and Engine 20 (2 firefighters). Westmorland 911 also dispatched the following stations to assist Station 20: Station 22 (Export VFD), Station 64 (White Valley VFD), and Station 78 (Sardis VFC). Truck 20 was the first unit on scene, found no fire or smoke, and upon entry of the home found that the AFA System had malfunctioned. Lieutenant 20 cancelled all additional responding units, and recommended to the home owners that they notify their alarm company to service the home's AFA System. Lieutenant 20 released Truck 20 for return to service and station.
