At 6:04 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a single vehicle auto accident on Mayer Drive. Station 20 responded with Squad 20 (2 firefighters including Sergeant 20) going directly to the scene, and 6 firefighters going to Station 20 to crew Rescue 20. Sergeant 20 was first on the scene, and found no accident at the reported location. Rescue 20 was held in station while the incident was investigated by the firefighters at the scene. The vehicle in question was found, and it was discovered that the vehicle's satellite notification system had malfunctioned reporting a previous accident. Sergeant 20 cancelled Rescue 20 in station.
