Cub Scout Pack 207 visited Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) this evening for a station tour and orientation on the Emergency Services within the Municipality of Murrysville. The Scouts received an orientation and demonstration of fire/rescue, emergency medical service and police equipment. As part of the fire equipment demonstration, the scouts observed a Firefighter don his Personal Protective Equipment (including the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus). After the orientation, Cub Scouts were able to walk around the fire, ambulance and police vehicles; and talk to the firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and police officers on the capabilities of their vehicles and equipment.
