At 12:11 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 78 (Sardis VFC) for a report of a brush fire in the vicinity of High Pointe Court. Station 20 responded with 3 firefighters going to the station to man Engine 20 and 1 firefighter (Chief 20) going directly to the scene. Also dispatched to assist Station 78 were Station 236 (Holiday Park VFD) and Station 183 (Renton VFD). A call back from the initial caller reported a controlled recreational fire. Chief 78 returned the companies with the exception of Engine 78.
