At ~10:42 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 78 (Sardis VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Greenhead Court. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (3 firefighters) , with Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene, and an additional firefighter manning the station. Westmorland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to assist Station 78: Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC), and Station 183 (Renton VFC). Assistant Chief 20 was first on scene, established command, and observed no fire or smoke coming from the structure. Upon investigation it was found that construction had activated the AFA System, and there was no fire. Command 20 cancelled all responding units, and Truck 20 returned to service and station.
