At 11:56 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to establish and support a MEDVAC Landing Zone at the Franklin Regional Schools Main Campus. Statin 20 responded with Engine 20 (2 firefighters), with 3 additional firefighters (including Captain 20) going directly to the scene. Captain 20 arrived at the scene, established command, and the LZ was marked for the landing of the STAT MED EVAC Helicopter. Murrysville Medic One EMS Personnel transferred the patient from Medic 616 to the STAT MedEvac Helicopter Stretcher, and the STAT MedEvac loaded the patient on the helicopter. Upon departure of the helicopter, Captain 20 returned Engine 20 to service and station.
