| At ~3:00 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 59 (Slickville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Ark Manor, Salem Township. Station 20 had 5 firefighters respond to the station to crew Truck 20, which was held in station until Command 59 investigated the alarm. Westmorland 911 also dispatched the following stations to assist Station 59: Station 30 (Delmont VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 87 (Harrison City VFC), and Station 90 (Forbes Road VFC). Upon investigation of the scene, Command 59 found that the AFA System had malfunctioned, and all stations except for Station 59 were cancelled. Truck 20 returned service. |
