At ~ 12:11 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a 3-vehicle collision at the intersection of Sardis Road and Logan Ferry Road. Station 20 responded with 3 firefighters going directly to the scene, and 5 firefighters going to the station to crew Rescue 20. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) and the Murrysville Police. The senior firefighter on scene established command, found that all drivers had self-extricated from the vehicles, and there was no debris or fluid leaking from the vehicles. The drivers were assessed by Station 610 EMS personnel, while the firefighters assisted the Murrysville Police in traffic regulation. All vehicles were moved off the roadway, and it was determined that no fire/rescue services were needed. Command 20 released all Station 20 personnel for return to service.
