At ~7:56 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 59 (Slickville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Ark Manor, Salem Township. Station 20 had 6 firefighters (including Captain 20 and Lieutenant 20) respond to the station to crew Truck 20. Chief 59 was first on scene, established command, and found no fire or smoke coming from the structure. Upon investigation it was found that a resident had pulled the alarm, and the staff had reset the AFA System. Command 59 cancelled all responding units except for Station 59, and Truck 20 returned to service.
