| At ~ 3:08 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a punctured natural gas line at the Murrysville Sports Zone Arena. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (3 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with 1 firefighter going directly to the scene, and 1 firefighter on standby at the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) to support Station 20. Upon Rescue 20's arrival, Lieutenant 20 established command, and found a natural gas line had been punctured while drilling for a foundation. Command 20 requested that Westmorland 911 pass the incident information to Peoples Gas, so a construction crew could be mobilized to repair the line. The scene was turned over to representatives of Peoples Gas, and Command 20 returned Rescue 20 to service and station. |
