At ~10:20 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of utility wires down in front of a home on Mill Stream Court. Station 20 responded with 2 firefighter going to the station to crew Engine 20, and 2 firefighters (Captain 20 and Lieutenant 20) going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) to support Station 20. Lieutenant 20 was first on scene, established command, and found that the downed utility line was a Comcast Cable TV Line. Command 20 relayed the utility pole number to Westmoreland 911 so Comcast could respond to the scene with a repair crew to repair the downed line. Since the utility line was off the roadway, and not a hazard, Command 20 returned Engine 20 to service and station.
