| At ~11:20 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Manor Oak Court. Station 20 responded with Truck 20, with Lieutenant 20 going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), and Station 22 (Export VFC) to support Station 20. Lieutenant 20 was first on scene, established command, and observed no smoke or fire coming from the structure. Truck 20, Service 64, and Engine 22-1 arrived on scene, upon investigation found that the AFA System had activated due to a cooking incident. No ventilation was required. Command 20 released all fire units for return to station. |
