At ~12:39 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) at a home on Sardis Road. Station 20 responded with Squad 20 (3 firefighters), with an additional firefighter going directly to the scene. Upon arrival the firefighters assisted the EMS personnel in moving the patient from the home to the ambulance over rough terrain. Once the patient was loaded, Squad 20 was released by the senior EMS paramedic for return to service and station.
