At ~ 7:29 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a downed electric line across Chalmers Avenue. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (2 firefighters). Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the Murrysville Police and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Engine 20 arrived on scene, with the senior firefighter establishing command, finding that the energized electric service line to a home had been pulled away from a home, and was lying across the street. Westmoreland 911 was notified of the utility pole number, and to have West Penn Power dispatch a crew to repair the service line. Engine 20 and the Murrysville Police remained on scene to secure the utility line, and Command 20 released Medic 617. West Penn Power arrived and reinstalled the electric service line to the home. Once the electric service line was reinstalled, Command 20 returned Engine 20 to service and station.
