At ~ 7:14 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 59 (Slickville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Ark Senior Services in Salem Township. Station 20 responded with 5 firefighters to crew Truck 20. Chief 59 was first on scene, established command, and found no fire or smoke coming from the structure. Command 59 held all responding stations in quarters except for Station 59. Upon investigation it was found that a resident had activated the AFA System through a pull station. Command 59 cancelled all responding stations. Truck 20 returned to service.
